The creeks feed the deep and forgiving lake to which we people add our partially-treated effluent...... which then, it so happens, nourishes the newly fantastic algae. Which in turn provide fodder for invading Euro-Zebra Muscles, which themselves hapily filter and clarify the water while providing a welcome soure of immobile protien to the resurgent native Lake Sturgeon, the eggs of which particular species are, fortunately, not particularly prized by humansas caviar.
